1. Information We Collect

When you use Stopme, we may collect the following information:

• Account Information: Name, email address, and phone number when you sign up as a photographer.
• Event Photos: Photos uploaded by photographers to their event galleries, stored securely in encrypted cloud storage.
• Guest Selfies: Temporary selfie images uploaded by event guests for AI face matching. These are processed ephemerally and not stored permanently.
• Facial Embeddings: Mathematical vector representations generated from selfies for face matching purposes. These are numerical data, not images.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics including page views, feature usage, and device information to improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered face matching between guest selfies and event photos
• To store and deliver event photos to authorized guests
• To process payments for subscription plans
• To send event-related notifications (e.g., new photos available)
• To improve and optimize platform performance

3. Facial Recognition & AI Data

Stopme uses InsightFace ArcFace technology for face matching. We want to be transparent about how this works:

• Facial embeddings are generated for matching purposes only and are never sold or shared with third parties.
• Guest selfies used for matching are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored after matching is complete.
• Photographers control their event's Privacy Mode, which determines whether guests see a public gallery or only their own photos.

4. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure, encrypted servers provided by Supabase (with data centres in India). We employ industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit
• AES-256 encryption for data at rest
• Row-Level Security (RLS) policies for database access
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and file storage
• Razorpay: Payment processing (India)
• Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics
• Microsoft Clarity: Session recording for UX improvement

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your event photos
• Opt out of analytics tracking
• Request correction of inaccurate data

7. Data Retention

Event photos are retained for the duration of the photographer's active subscription. Upon account deletion or plan expiry, photos are permanently deleted within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Stopme is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with personal information, they should contact us immediately.
